The Historic Flag Company

We offer museum quality, period-correct hand painted flags for the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and the Civil War (Union or Confederate). 

This includes National, State, Regimental, Cavalry, and Artillery Colors.  Other period flags can be created, provided information is available.  

What We Do

We create flags in the same manner as the period originals.  Each flag is a unique, handpainted work of art.   

Flags are created using a fabric called "silk essence" or real silk, if desired.  (Silk Essence is more durable and last longer than real silk.)
